These five day course are based on the Business Continuity Management (BCM) life cycle detailed in the BCI 'Good Practice Guidelines' and in BS 25999. Understanding BCM Principles and Good Practice consists of 5 one day training modules that can be taken individually or as part of a series.
The content of the training course will cover essential BCM knowledge as examined in the BCI Certificate Examination. The BCI Certificate Examination is a requirement of entry into BCI professional membership from Oct 2007. For further information about training is available here.

BCI Training
From January 1st 2010 the Following Changes to BCI Training and Examination will Apply:
1. It will no longer be possible to sit the examination at the end of the five day course. Delegates must book the examination separately and travel to a designated examination centre on a different date. As yet, we have not been given a list of these venues.
2. The discount on the examination, reducing it to GBP241+VAT will no longer apply. The price will rise to GBP 295+VAT.
Offer: Those wishing to take the examination at the end of the training have one last opportunity in London 16-20 November 2009.
The first four delegates to book the BCI training that week, quoting reference GPG1009, will get the examination free of charge. First come, First served. The five day courses costs GBP1800+VAT.
